The Capita Aeronaut Snowboard is Arthur Longo’s vision of the ultimate resort maximizer, built for riders who see side hits, transition pockets, and natural features as mandatory parts of every lap. Inspired by the smooth, powerful style of snowboarding’s unofficial king of making the whole mountain look like a terrain park, the Aeronaut combines a lightweight Panda Hover Core™, CarbonFlax™ Amplifiers, and a lightning-fast HyperDrive™ ADV XT base to create a board that thrives on speed, pop, and sending everything in sight. Groomers become launch ramps, sidecountry turns into powder slashes, and suddenly even the cat track starts looking suspiciously hittable.
Rocker Type:
Alpine V3 Directional: The ALPINE V3 profile has a 7 mm traditional camber that zeros out before the end of the sidecut. The small zero camber sections provide a more controlled ride while retaining the response and power of a cambered board.
Flex:
Flex Rating: Directional 6 ( 1 Soft / 10 Stiff)
Shape:
Directional: 0.8″ Setback
Progresive Sidecut
Core:
Panda Hover Core: Ultra lightweight core enhanced with Bamboo Power Rods™ for maximum power and response.
Laminates:
Holysheet Tri/Bi Magic Bean Resin: The HOLYSHEET™ fiberglass configuration features fiber weaves with a high tensile strength and low modulus of elasticity. With a higher roving count in the same weight of glass, you can have a stronger and more responsive board without adding extra weight, while this advanced resin system has a bio-content of 60% renewable, agricultural raw material. It is plant based that does not compete with primary food sources and is produced with no waste or greenhouse emissions. In production, it has a low-temperature requirement with a high yield output. This resin system is poppy, powerful, and extremely durable. MAGIC BEAN ™ resin yields much stronger and more rigid qualities allowing us to decrease the wood core thickness.
3 x 25 mm Carbonflax Amplifiers
Base:
Hyperdrive ADV XT: Engineers at The MotherShip have worked tirelessly with the world’s leading polyethylene running base supplier to create HYPERDRIVE™. With exceptional anti-friction properties due to high molecular mass and specialized processing aids, this sintered material has a proprietary composition and is beyond fast. Our loyal fans charge hard, and we have integrated the fastest, meanest base available. The thickness of the XT bases have been increased for enhanced durability.
Topsheet:
PLT Technology: Metallic Screen & Gloss/Matte Print
Binding Compatibility:
2 x 4 Inserts
