A katana is not sharpened for decoration. It is refined for perfection. The Rome Katana AW FASE® Snowboard Bindings are bindings at their most exacting state—precision pushed to their highest expression. Built for riders who notice everything, it responds instantly, cleanly, and without tolerance for excess input. OmniFlex Ankle Straps deliver connected AuxTech® comfort tuned for responsive power transfer, while ProGrip Toe Straps lock in with efficient, uncompromising security. PivotMount FASE® expands adjustment into its most complete form, offering 16 total positions per strap interface so stance, angle, and response can be dialed with absolute specificity. Fast, composed, and highly adjustable, this women’s FASE® binding reflects the same respect as its namesake: for the craft, for the movement, and for the mountain itself.

Flex Rating: 6-8 (1 Playful – 10 Precise)

Baseplate:

Asymwrap Platform: Rome’s game changer of a chassis that revolutionized the idea of connected comfort. The AsymWrap heelhoop features three connection points to the baseplate, allowing for a surfy ride and plenty of board feel, without sacrificing tweakability or edge-to-edge response.

Adjustable Baseplate: Created to streamline sizing adjustments for a better fit on a wider range of boot models and sizing.

2-Degree Dual Density Footbed

30% Glass: Responsive and stable, designed for a versatile and predictable ride.

70% Nylon: A versatile feel for reliable, ride-anything performance.

Universal Adjustable Disc: Advanced adjustment options to position your bindings edge-to-edge, or nose-to-heel pending on your boot size and fit.

Highback:

AutoBack: The key to FASE®, the AutoBack allows for hands-free entry to the binding. The intuitive design automatically closes as the boot enters the binding and opens when it’s time to unstrap. The AutoBack also folds flat for skating, chairlifts and storage.

15% Glass: Responsible and stable, designed for a versatile and predictable ride.

85% Nylon: A versatile feel for reliable, ride-anything performance.

Straps:

PivotMount FASE®: A Rome-exclusive binding innovation, PivotMounts allow you to adjust the position of the ankle strap on your boot with 8 different locations per side of the strap; the higher the strap sits, the more locked-in and powerful the feel; the lower the strap sits, the more playful and surfier the ride.

OmniFlex Ankle Straps: A Rome-first innovation, AuxTech® is a game changing pattern used in ankle and toe straps. Auxetic patterns are geometric patterns that are essentially a network of tiny hinges that expand evenly when pressure is applied. A solid state overmolded design engages with a TPU spine to perfectly blend responsive torsional flex and edge-to-edge power.

ProGrip Toe Straps: Rome’s game-changing strap built with the legendary hold of AuxTech®, this one-piece design provides next-level locked-in hold and undefeated comfort.

Buckles:

BombProof Buckles: A one-piece forged aluminum construction for better grip and durability.

Additional Features:

Forged Aluminum HeelHoop: Strength and durability, while staying lightweight and versatile, comes in the form of forged aluminum in the heelhoop.

Katana Family: Designed for riders who demand the highest level of performance, response, and adjustability. Our lightest and most adjustable bindings, the Katana Family features PivotMount to dial in the perfect position, ProGrip Toe Straps and OmniFlex Ankle Straps, introducing the next chapter of AuxTech®-powered connected comfort.

Never Miss A Day: Rome never wants you to miss a day of riding. If you ride hard, there’s always a chance something could wear out or break. But don’t worry – we’ve got you covered. Bindings with the “Never Miss a Day” feature come with a backup parts kit, including extra ladders, screws, and washers, so you can keep riding while sorting out replacements.
